Ratchet Clothing is an urban streetwear brand for 12–17-year-olds that, by 2013, had amassed over 350,000 online followers across the UK and the USA.
Its founder, Dhillan Bhardwaj, has designed clothing for artists such as Rihanna and Miley Cyrus, and was even invited for tea with the Prime Minister. He later became widely known for earning his first million at 16 - view his TEDx Talk video.
I worked with Dhillan before he became widely known, and during Ratchet’s early days, I volunteered to help him and his team photograph their Autumn/Winter collection 2013.
